Ryan & Company Wins Standard of Excellence Award in the Web Marketing Association's 1999 WebAward Web Site Competition.
BOSTON -- The Web Marketing Association is
pleased to announce the winners of it's 1999 WebAward competition for
corporate web sites. Over 500 sites from around the world were adjudicated
during this year's competition. Entries were judged based on design, innovation,
content, interactivity, navigation, ease of use and use of technology.

have both been awarded the Standard of Excellence award in the 1999 WebAward
Web Site Competition.

is a competitive environment and simply being there is not enough. The

The 1999 WebAwards competition format allows
Web sites to compete head to head with other sites within their industry
as well as against a standard of excellence. There are three award levels:
Best of Industry, Outstanding Web Site and Standard of Excellence in addition
to the Best of ShowWebAward. The competition was judged by a team of independent
Internet professionals representing the various relevant disciplines of
Web site development. Judges included members of the media, advertising
executives, site designers, corporate marketing executives, content providers
and webmasters. The Competition's Web site is sponsored by Broadvision,
iSyndicate, WebPromote, NetCreations, LinkExchange and PRNewswire.
The WebAwards competition is conducted by
the Web Marketing Association, Inc. (WMA), an independent organization
founded with the purpose of evaluating and recognizing the standard of
