Ryan & Company Expands With New Office in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Dallas, Texas -- Ryan & Company, a national provider of state & local tax consulting and software implementation services, today announced the opening of its office in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The firm has leased 2,950 square feet of office space in the One American Center located at 4th and North Streets, Baton Rouge, LA 70825.

Ryan & Company named Timmy F. Hulin, Manager, Louisiana Tax Services, to head the new office. In his new position, Mr. Hulin will focus on business development, service delivery, and recruiting efforts in this market, building on Ryan & Company's existing presence and service delivery nationally. He will also support Ryan & Company's many national accounts that operate in the state. According to G. Brint Ryan, Ryan & Company Managing Principal, "Many of our most important clients have significant operations in Louisiana, and because we are committed to client service, it made sense for us to open a new office there."

Prior to joining Ryan & Company, Mr. Hulin established his expertise in Louisiana state and parish taxes with over 22 years of experience in various government and industry positions. Mr. Hulin's experience includes eight years as an auditor and Area Audit Manager for the Louisiana Department of Revenue; three years as the Sales Tax Director for the West Baton Rouge Parish; and six years as a partner in the contract auditing firm, Broussard & Hulin. His experience also includes four years as a tax representative for The Dow Chemical Company, where he was responsible for sales and use and other excise tax compliance and audits for Dow and its subsidiaries for a nine state region.
