Ryan & Company, P.C. is formed after the buy-out of Chris F.
Collis. G. Brint Ryan becomes the senior, majority shareholder
and Managing Principal of the Firm.
In July, Gerry L. Ridgely, Jr. becomes Ryan & Company’s fourth
Principal. G. Brint Ryan is appointed to the Texas Comptroller of
Public Accounts Industry/Practitioner Liaison Group, an advisory
committee appointed by Comptroller John Sharp to assist with
tax policy matters.
Dallas attorney Forrest Smith joins the Firm and begins a long-term
affiliation with Ryan & Company which continues to this day.
The Firm ends 1993 with 14 employees and $1.8 million in annual
revenue.
